Here is a restaurant in Manhattan that is acceptable, but yet, inexpensive! It is definitely an eatery that caters to all ages. We saw young families with their children in child seats and we saw elderly people enjoying their meals. The menu here is limited to mostly ribs and chicken, but there are some burgers and salads available. The most amazing item is the "Early Bird Special." This plan offers 2 full meals for $7.95! For that price you get 2 chicken vegetable soups, 2 rotisseried half chickens, cornbread and a choice of potato. Come Monday through Thursday from noon to 6:30 p.m. or Friday, Saturday, or Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. and you will find this offering available. The restaurant is large and bustling. Although the table and dinnerware is clean, the restaurant could stand an overall cleaning.
Note: We have been back to this restaurant several times and have enjoyed it each time. We get a large, well prepared meal for a great price. There is nothing fancy here, just good American food. We have tried the Popcorn Shrimp, the Beef Ribs, and the Hamburgers, and they are all excellent. The Teriyaki appetizer is good too, but lacks onions (Wendy's favorite). Order a 1/2 order unless you are sharing with 2 - 3 people.
RESTAURANT: DALLAS BBQ 1265 Third Avenue, New York City, NY DATE: November 24, 1999, December 2002 MEAL: Dinner BREAD: SALAD: Homemade Cole Slaw ($1.50) Very good, generous
portion APPETIZER: ENTREE: Bar-B-Q Beef Ribs ($9.95) Excellent but messy! Came
with about 6 huge ribs that were impossible to pick up
because they were heavily laden with a thick barbecue sauce.
The ribs tended to slide around the plate when we tried to
cut them. They were, however, meaty and tasty. We opted to
take half of them home where we could eat them in our
fingers over the sink! Also came with a very large cube of
cornbread and a wonderful, creamy, baked potato served with
sour cream and fresh chives (served on the side) DESSERT: OTHER: Quick service Take out meals, delivery, and catering

difficult We would suggest the baby back ribs for a meal that
would be easier to eat Features Frozen Texas Size drinks (Margaritas,
