Deep Space CCD Atlases North & South  --
Complementing the hardcopy books are the enhanced digital features of the combined CD version -- an efficient method of presenting fresh, high-resolution information, with features unavailable to printed matter. The works are mentioned in Astronomy  Magazine, April, '04.

Below, are examples from, and descriptions of, the Atlases. There are links to valuable free content. Simple ordering instructions follow this, just ahead of some recommended outside websites, and a link to an unrelated book by this writer.

Our goal is to further illuminate what is both interesting and accessible throughout the deep space celestial sphere! To build up a picture of selected objects we create and organize the perspectives of varied images, a selection of charts, and multiple information links.
Careful observation is as challenging as it is rewarding. Make the most of your labors by availing yourself of our  work.
This home-made product is obviously low-volume, hence direct orders are the simplest way for me, and the cheapest way for you, to transact it.
The CD, which now includes TWO disks full of data and images, is an inexensive way to print your own atlas, charts, and object data.
Below, I describe some of the enhanced content.

Rundown on the North and South Atlases
Every effort has been made that Atlas imagery be amongst the best for tracking, resolution, and clear annotations.
North Atlas has 274 densely detailed, letter-size pg.s containing about 2600 labeled objects.
South Atlas includes extremely deep images on 160 pg.s with some 1600 entries, plus a 30-page southern Addendum of roughly 500 ID'd objects. This volume integrates with, and overlaps the unique North Atlas coverage, rendering the two even more useful as a set.
The CD is all new. It contains North and South plus Addendum pages which preserve original detail -- unmatchable by any printing method.
    Most notable CD improvements --
  • A snappy interface allows you to resave or print pages on PC's or Mac's. Also included are the Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® application, Messier sample images, and updated Freeware image processing software.
  • Links directly to any object referenced or indexed anywhere on the CD, via inherited view  to zoom in on your desired destination.
  • Many thousands of quick navigation hyperlinks, area sky-chart selections, and false-color or positive views!
Another recent enhancement: new integrated databases on primary target objects in the Atlases. Every object is backed up with direct links to multiple sources of enlightening information. Below are some standalone PDFs from the new Atlases. They're free; I simply ask that they be accorded standard acknowledgement etiquette. Watch for updates.
