Learners

This lesson is based on kindergarten's social studies, science and language arts standards.  The lesson also incorporates math and the arts standards.  This lesson can be also used with first and second graders.  The play can be based on a diary that Arnold or Johnny Appleseed might have written about the change in apple trees.

Learners will need to know what an apple is and where they grow.  They will have had read the book Apples, by Gail Gibbons.  They will have also have been introduced to the name Johnny Appleseed.  This WebQuest is the culminating activities of the unit.
