The figure should now be out of view. To complete the experiment, open a door so that if you imagined the figure to be a solid, flat object, it would just barely pass through the opening (using the LONGEST dimension, i.e., not rotating the figure). When you are happy with the size of the opening, measure it. Then return to the figure and measure the size of the figure on your screen.
