Projected Images

Projected images are images of physical objects, shapes, or sizes that are imagined to exist in the visual field. They generally derive from memory images. For example, one can for a projected image of a favorite painting from memory, imagining how it would look "over there, on the wall." To perform an experiment with a projected image study the figure below for about 10 seconds. Look at it from several distances. Then click on the NEXT link below the figure.
