When the two images are superimposed, the "face" image below results.

This test would be extremely difficult for even a strong eideticer. Believe it or not, there are even more difficult tests, and some people have demonstrated that they can solve very complicated visual problems using eidetic imagery. If you guessed or realized that by arranging the shapes of the two images, a face might be formed, that, again, is NOT the same as having an eidetic image. An edetic subject literally "sees" the answer to questions about pictures. In fact, thinking about what is in the picture actually seems to interfere with the ability to form an eidetic image. The point is that eidetic imagery represents a distinct type of imagery, qualitatively different from memory or imagination images.

If you feel you did form an eidetic image, contact me (or your local psychology department). You might be useful to research!
