Start:
1. Go to
http://www.networksolutions.com
2. Click on Manage Account at the top.
3. Enter in the Domain in the box . Click on Go.
4. Select "I want to transfer my domain to another ISP" from the list on
next screen. Click on Go.
5. Enter Admin Contact email address click on GO at bottom.
Note: If the contact email address is no longer valid enter a
valid email address that you have access to.You can get a tracking
number via this email from Network Solutions. Since you cannot confirm
the transfer by the email they have in their data base, you must FAX
over a confirmation after you complete steps 1-9.
If you have access to the Admin Contact email then you can complete the
whole process on the Internet (Webpage and email) without FAXing over
the confirmation.
6. Scroll down to Name Server information.
7. Replace the first four boxes with the following information:
Required Information
Primary Server Hostname: ns1.gis.net
Primary Server Netaddress: 208.218.130.4
Secondary Server Hostname: ns2.gis.net
Secondary Server Netaddress: 208.218.130.5
8. Click on "Submit this form for processing" down below the empty
boxes.
9. You will get an email from Network Solutions. Follow instructions in
email to
complete the transfer.
