Currently under contract for a series of articles, "The History of Shepherd's Dog", for International Sheepdog News, the magazine of the International Sheep Dog Society (Britain and Ireland). Twenty have already been published.

Co-author of The Working Border Collie, (book) published by T.F.H. Publishers.

Co-founder and co-director of Sheep-to-Shawl Tour of Scotland, (a small group tour to sheep and fiber-related sites), 1983-1992.
Editor of NEBCA News (newsletter of the North East Border Collie Association (NEBCA)), and one of the founders of the organization.
Editor of the newsletter of the Essex County (Massachusetts) Sheep Breeders Association, and one of the founders of the organization.
Editor of the Newsletter and Journal (a publication of the Boston Area Spinners & Dyers (BASD)).
Art editor of the Carlisle, Massachusetts Mosquito (the town newspaper), and one of the founders of the publication.
