IN THE ARTIST'S OWN COLLECTION
(NOT FOR SALE)

The bags on this page are ones that the artist made and has kept in her own collection.
Some were made early on (prior to 2005), others more recently.
None are for sale.

Triptych collaboration between Eva Lambert, Isle of Skye, and me. The three felted pieces are my work, sent to Eva, who then wove the hangings to go with them. Small woven tapestries on the felt pieces are by me, and other elements include feathers and 4-strand-braided yarn fringe. The central piece was fleece from my beautiful Border Leicester ram, Alisdair, and includes a pewter sun-face pendant. All three illustrate the technique mentioned above, of pulling the long wool fibers forward from the back of shorter fibers. Eva spun all the wool for her hangings on a drop spindle, and dyed it herself using natural dyes.
