Gary Sugal (that’s me) is an active, professional woodwind player, and I extensively inspect, test for durability, and play every one of our mouthpieces and instruments.  I know what to listen for, and what good "keying"  and a  fine "keyboard"  should feel like.  You will never get from a Sugal instrument less than great sound and great touch. You will NEVER get a mouthpiece or an instrument “off the shelf.”  We are not a warehouse selling whatever odds and ends we can get our hands on!

As you will note in the photos, our saxophones are beautifully lazar as well as hand engraved. We can add your name or initials if you wish to any instrument you order.

 In addition those "Internet" start ups who sell the instruments usually do so,  "as is" and probably have no warranty, no trial or exchange policy, both of which we offer to all our customers.
