Crosscurrents Music Publishing was started in New York in 1983 by composer Nicholas Scarim. We are dedicated to producing and publishing works for concert artists, works for students, and works of music theater for both adult and young audiences.

Nicholas Scarim is currently on the faculty of the Third Street Music School Settlement in New York, where he has taught composition since 1979. Many of the student chamber works listed at this site are the direct result of the needs of students and faculty of the Chamber Music Program at Third Street, which was started by Dr. Victoria Von Arx, and is now beginning its 25th year. 

The music manuscripts on this site have been stored as lower resolution graphics to enable faster browsing. The music you will receive in your email is of publication quality. It will arrive as a MSWord document attachment.
