1. Both parties agree that this breeding is being conducted for the betterment of the breed.
2. The bitch must have a good temperament and have no disqualifying faults under the current AKC Breed Standard, must be OFA certified, be in good condition, be tested and be free of parasites, and all shots current for the year.
3. The following must be provided prior to breeding the female: copy of the OFA certificate, pedigree, AKC ownership certificate and current brucellosis test results. It is suggested that the bitch’s owner have her checked by a vet prior to breeding to insure that she is at the time of estrus and has no blockage for ease of breeding.
4. It is further agreed that puppies produced from this breeding will not be sold to any owner, employee, agent, or individual connected with a wholesaler of dogs (purebred or otherwise).
5. Stud fee is $ 1,500.00 and is required prior to breeding. No stud fee, in whole or part, will be returned. Should the bitch fail to be in whelp or have less than two (2) puppies, one (1) free return service will be given by the same dog, at the next heat cycle of the same bitch (providing the stud dog is available and still in good health). Notice must be given to the stud dog owner within 5 days of expected whelping date. If stud dog is not available or if the bitch changes ownership or fails to conceive after return service this contract is terminated.
6. It is specifically agreed hereby that the owner of the stud dog is not obligated to sign application for registration of this litter until and unless the stud fee has been paid in full.
7. Names, addresses and phone numbers of all puppy buyers MUST be submitted to the owners of the stud dog. Notes additional to above: With an AI all costs with collection and shipping of semen is the bitch owner(s) responsibility.
