Fabricated left and right aileron bell crank push rod spacers and primed,
also temp installed them onto the bell crank. This picture also shows
the new lube I'm experimenting with. I think previously back in the archives
during bell crank bolt brass bushing fabrication I initially used aeroshell
22 however I since removed the bell crank and cleaned off the aeroshell and
re-lubed with some Pedros ice wax. This stuff works killer on the mountain
bike chain and sheds dirt and dust.
Keeping the wing in the dolly, and with Joe's help started final riveting
the left wing bottom inboard skin. The 2 and 3rd bays on the aft spar were
a bear a lot of patients is required here. I completely clecoed the skin on
and was a contortionist for a while riveting left handed. Joe helped out with
the gun on the rivets I could not reach. A good mirrors and flashlight is
needed. Final riveted the flap hinge as well.
