Bent the lt. trim tab cutout on the elevator skin. Cut a wood wedge to fit
for the inside, and clamp another piece on top and gently wack
away with your rivet gun. This came out better than expected, just about perfect.
Once again look close in there and you can see the clear RTV dabs at the
trailing edge.
Clecoed and ready to to be final riveted.
Some Tips regarding elevators:
- Edge roll your leading edges before final riveting.
- Assemble your trim tab actuator mount (dimple, countersink and plate
nuts) before final riveting the elevator skin.
