Become a PACE Representative

PACE parent representatives form the broad statewide membership of the organization that gives us such grassroots power! Each Catholic school principal selects a parent representative to serve on their respective region's PACE coalition:

  • Boston Central and Suburban
  • Boston North and Merrimack Valley
  • Boston South
  • Fall River
  • Springfield
  • Worcester

To be a PACE parent representative, all you need is a willing heart and a few hours of service. Parent representatives attend two to three regional coalition meetings per year, our annual Advocacy Day at the Massachusetts State House and are available to periodically contact legislators with information in support of Catholic school initiatives. PACE provides the background information and contacts you when your timely help is needed.

For example, you may be asked to call or email your legislator in support of a budget amendment that restores funding for school nursing services to your school. You don't need to be an expert in government affairs, but cultivating a relationship with your legislator and/or members of his or her staff is helpful in getting the necessary votes in the legislature that help our schools and children.

Won't you become your school's PACE Parent Representative? Talk to your school principal today!
