President
Northeast Training Group, Inc.

Dear Sue,

The mission of the information technology Group here at Boston Edison is to "provide unprecedented customer service." You must have adopted that same mission long before I first met you. "Unprecedented" to me means something that is not to be found anywhere else. That fits because you have provided me, for over five years both here at Boston Edison and earlier at Polaroid, with training solutions that no one else has been able to match.

As I seek training solutions to meet the developmental needs (both technical and non-technical) of IT professionals, I look for four attributes in a training provider:

  1. Quality - Anything short of the right content delivered by an instructor who can teach adults is a waste of my budget and the student's valuable time. You have never disappointed me. More than once, students have sought me out to let me know that one of your instructors was the best they had ever had.
  2. Availability - We have a broad range of topics that we need taught - from mainframe to client/server to web-based to project management. It is hard to find something you cannot cover. Your one-stop shopping service saves me time and makes me look good.
  3. Service - Customer service is where you shine. Setting up custom classes in an unfamiliar classroom and constantly shuffling schedules as business demands take precedence can be tedious and frustrating. You shoulder most of the burden and turn it into a pleasant experience with courtesy and humor.
  4. Cost - The prices charged by many of the major software and training vendors have gotten completely out of hand. Your charges are always fair and reasonable.

You have made my job infinitely easier. I wish your enterprise a long and successful life because I want to make sure that I retire before you do.

Thanks for all you do,

Jim Landfried

To Whom It May Concern:

In the capacity of training coordinator for the information systems organization at BankBoston, I have worked closely with Susan Goldberg for the past 18 years. During that time she has been a valuable resource, providing a variety of training resources from self-study alternatives during her early years with ASI, to instructor-led training which she currently provides through her company, Northeast Training Group, Inc.

Over that time span, the quality of service and training I have received from Susan has been consistently superb. She has demonstrated an outstanding willingness to understand our specific training needs and tailor her training recommendations to meet those needs. In addition, I can always count of Susan's support and follow-through during the entire training life cycle from contracting to course delivery and post-course evaluation. She goes to great lengths to ensure that the training agreed upon is delivered according to specifications.

I have appreciated greatly the breadth of Susan's knowledge of the current state of information technology and training. I have often consulted with her when making decisions affecting systems education, and I have come to view her as a valued training colleague.

In conclusion, I personally would highly recommend Susan and Northeast Training Group, Inc. to anyone seeking a training solution to an information technology challenge.

Sincerely,

Thomas Wadleigh
