POSEIDON is a volatile God of the Sea who stirs up tempests with his mighty trident. He is called both "Supporter of Earth" and "the Earth-Shaker", a God of earthquakes. He is associated with both horses and bulls, and is seen as a male fertility God, a terrestrial God who sends up springs from deep within the Earth .
