Boreas

The Four Winds of the Classical Greek world were: Eurus the East wind, Notus the South Wind, Zephyrus the West Wind, and BOREAS the North Wind. The Four Winds were often invoked to drive away evil or to call forth blessings. One example of an eighth-century rune spell which survives as a love-poem: Blow, Northern Wind Send to me my Sweeting Blow, Northern Wind, Blow, Blow, Blow.
