Please tell us about yourself...

How did you learn about Greylock Glen Griffons?

What made you decide that a Wire Haired Pointing Griffon is the right dog for you?

Griffs are energetic dogs. Have you and your family considered the time required to exercise your dog? Do you have an active lifestyle, including outdoor activities?

Do you have any other animals? If so, what kind?

What other breeds of dogs have you owned, and to what age did they live?

Will your Griff be part of your family, spending a lot of time with you, or a minimum of time with you?

Hunting and Training...

What type of hunting do you plan on doing with your Griffon?

On average, how many days do you hunt for upland game, and how many days do you hunt for waterfowl?

Please describe the types of conditions, terrain and acreage you experience when hunting (i.e.: farmland, open prairie, dense forest, preserve hunting, swamp, marsh, coastal waters, etc...)

Have you ever hunted with a Griffon before? If so, what was your impression?

Have you ever trained a versatile hunting dog before? If so, would you describe yourself as an experienced, moderately experienced, or a novice trainer/handler?

Are you a member of NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) or any other hunting dog organization? If not, would you be willing to be involved if we put you in touch with people in your area who could help you train your Griffon?

Your Griff's Health...

When the dog reaches 2 years of age, do you plan on having it's hips evaluated with OFA or Pennhip; and have it's eyes examined by a certified ophthalmologist? Will you be willing to provide us with copies of the test results?

Do you plan to breed your Griffon? Do you plan to neuter your Griffon?

Because we truly do love each and every one of our dogs, we are very interested in hearing about their well-being and accomplishments. Are you agreeable to the fact that when you purchase a puppy from us, we will be in contact with your periodically throughout the life of your Griffon?

Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions. The more you can tell us about yourself, your family and what your Griffon will be used for, the better we can evaluate your needs and make sure we select from our bloodlines the best match for you. Please feel free to add any additional information, requests or comments below. Once again, thank you for you interest in Greylock Glen Griffons.
