In 1985, when my children were exposed to lead paint after a home improvement
project, my friend Barry Sosinsky, a PhD chemist, decided to start a company to
make a simple kit for the homeowner to find lead in paint. The Lead DetectiveTM has been
reported on by The Old House Journal, Consumer Reports and
numerous newspapers. Our kit has been used by homeowners, inspectors, the United
States Park Service, the US Navy and various other public and private
organizations.
