Sylvester

Sylvester is male, about 6 years old and is probably part Siamese because he loves to talk a lot. Sylvester was rescued in Minnesota by my friend Lorraine Calzetta after a rather unfortunate circumstance: the parents of the family who had Sylvester decided they didn't want him anymore, but the children didn't want to lose him, so they super-glued his feet to the floor. Somehow Sylvester survived this unscathed and became one of the most friendly well-behaved house cats ever encountered. Sylvester had been adopted for three years by a single mother with a 6-year old son who treated Sylvester as his brother. Unfortunately their apartment suddenly changed the rules to disallow pets starting January 1, 2005. So now Sylvester has joined my household, and seems to get along great with all the other cats.

Summi-Sasha

Summi-Sasha is female, about 7 years old and is part Abyssinian. Summi was saved from living underneath a house in Minnesota twice by my friend Lorraine Calzetta-Patrovic before I adopted her. Summi had a total of 16 litters before being spayed. Summi is probably my favorite cat and is the mother to my male cats Tabby, Tiger and Mackerel, part of her last litter.

Tabby, Tiger and Mackerel

Left to right: Tabby, Tiger, Mackerel; I have raised these kits ever since they were about two weeks old. Tabby seems to be the Alpha male, while Tiger is shy. Tiger has his mothers green eyes, was the runt of the litter and is now the largest but is still shy. Mackerel has stripes like the fish and reminds me of my deceased brother Dominic.

Squeeky

Squeeky is a two year old female. Her mother is Ada-Belle who is part Maine Coon. Squeeky was one of a litter of five kits born in my bathroom on April 29, 2001, the other four kits have all been adopted to good homes. Squeeky is still kind of a kitten and loves to play with the cat dancer and a red comb, her favorite toys.
