TCS Guitar Tabs: "The Best Man's Fall"

one of my more favorite songs on cake is best man's fall
(track numero 5) and i thought i'd add to the guitar tab floating around on
the web.  the chords weren't that hard to decipher and most of what i got
matched with the existing tabs.  but i noticed no one bothered to enlighten
us with the fingered parts, so i thought i'd do that (for what i could
figure out, anyway).

here's the opening pattern, and what is simultaneously played during the E-D
verses:

in other words, second fret D, not second fret G-string.  also, thanks for
the feedback.  in regards to eric and cosimo, i haven't listened to the song
too closely, but i think that chord in the bridge sounds more like a high E
than an Am.   

i kind of figured it out while playing REM's "find the river" because they
use the same odd D (or is it an F) you finger to play the first few notes of
this pattern.  i realize that there's probably more to that, but that's the
bare-bones of it anyway.

for the bridge in the middle of the song that lyrically starts, "you came
into my life, like a brick through a window..." here's what i figured to be
the introing little medley diddley... (first start off fingering a D with
your finger off the high-e string).

i hope all this crap comes out right on your screen.  i definitely want to
know about any corrections that need to be made.  also, i have one
correction.  in that bridge, i believe someone tabbed a chord as an Am in
the progression, but i really feel that it is an E.  hope i don't spark any
controvesy and thanks all for any future feedback...

hm, i just visited the web page, and i think we might be talking about
different places in the song, but in the bridge, does anyone else hear that
E?  ie, when he sings, "...like a brick through a window and i cracked a
smile..."  shouldn't there be an E between the D and C?  i could be wrong,
though, and probably am.  anyway, toodloo...
