Screamin' Otter Periodical

The Screamin' Otter home page is dedicated to all the Otters who have lived in Sorin Hall (College) at the University of Notre Dame. You know, Sorin and Otter are very prestigious terms. Fr. Edward Sorin, C.S.C. is the founder of the University of Notre Dame, and Otter is perhaps John Belushi's finest work; an admirable character from "Animal House".

Back in 1993, my partner in crime, Brian O'Keefe, and I started up the "Screamin' Otter Periodical", a newsletter originally intended to update the Sorin class of 1990 as to the activities and whereabouts of other members of the class. The "Screamin' Otter Periodical" quickly expanded to include members of other classes and before we knew it, our circulation was rivaling that of "Sports Illustrated". We learned a harsh business lesson: our rapid expansion was more than we could handle and put us out of business.

Well, thanks to the wonders of the Internet, unlimited hours on my ISP account and free disk space for web pages, the "Screamin' Otter Periodical" is back from the dead and back with a vengeance!

1. I didn't think it was worth spending the time to format these old articles, so for now just bear with me and accept them as they are.
2. The address and phone number updates are extremely outdated and you should assume they're wrong. For now, you'll just have to settle for the wit of each article. If you're looking for someone's address, phone number or e-mail address, let me know and I'll try to track it down

Note: Some of the graphics in the "Screamin' Otter Periodical" take a little bit to load so your best bet is probably to read the articles and then go back and look at the crude drawings later. Or you can wait for the whole thing to load, especially if you're at work.
