About the Back Class The Back Injury Prevention Class will focus on the center of the body which is often overlooked in traditional training rountines. Learn how to strengthen your abdominal, low back, and gluteal muscles! Low back pain is one of the most common ailments. Learn how to control, manage, and prevent low back pain!
What to Bring
Training will be held in the water and on land using aqua belts, resistive tubing, and water barbells. Please come prepared with sneakers, workout clothes, bathing
suit and bathing cap. About the Instructor
Karen McDonald is a certified physical therapist. She holds a Master degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University and has previously worked at NYU Medical Center. As an undergraduate at Brown University Karen was captain of the university's Gymnastics Team.
