THE WESTERN TRADITION OF POLITICAL THOUGHT: MODERN
This course will survey philosophical foundations of political thought in the modern era, fromDescartes to Nietzsche. The course will focus on the advent of the subject and modern morality, and how both underwrite figures of modern power and human alienation.
