Windell's Snowboard Camp (continued)

Although in the air I still wave my arms around a bit too much, my jumping greatly improved. Jeff showed us proper body position and techniques for hitting the kickers and I'm now going "bigger" than ever before and actually sticking the landings!

360 spins are still a bit out of my reach, but I did get a few nice Switch 180's. Also, the technique tips we received for riding the halfpipe would have taken me years to figure out on my own. By the last day of camp I was smoothly clearing the lip of the pipe, getting in grabs and even pulled off a few nice "Alley-Oops"

I had the time of my life at camp, met some awesome people and my skills as a rider are at least double what they used to be. If I had more vacation days available I would have stayed for the next session! and YES, I will be going again next summer!

A big "Thanks!" to coaches Jeff Fulton, John Spanos, Pat Abramson and Tom Nordwall.
