The following dogs and cats have disabilities or other special needs. They are great animals but will require extra care and consideration. Contact the Friends of the Plymouth Pound by e-mail or call (508) 224-6651 to get specific details about any of these animals. Note, if you see an animal here that you'd like to take home, you can fill out the cat adoption pre-screening form or dog adoption pre-screening form on-line and get the ball rolling right away!
"Calypso"

Eight year old Calypso's former owners could not keep her to they brought her to the FPP. She is declawed, spayed, healthy and lovable and was an only pet since her previous owner adopted her eight years ago. Like all FPP CATS, Calypso needs be an indoor cat, and she was declawed by previous owner. Calypso also lost one eye, but that doesn't affect her at all. She is loving, affectionate and ready to transition into a new, loving home as soon as possible.
