The Friends of the Plymouth Pound is now operating a cat shelter in the former Debbie's Petland store in the Kingston (Massachusetts) Mall.  We need volunteers to help us care for the cats that we house there.  If this is something that you can do, contact Gayle Fitzpatrick for details.

Share your Animal tales--Do you have a beloved pet you rescued from the Friends of the Plymouth Pound?   If so, share your story with the readers of the Old Colony Memorial Newspaper by sending your Animal tale and a photo of your adopted pet to tburgess@cnc.com or, by mail, to Animal tales, c/o Old Colony Memorial, 182 Standish Ave., Plymouth, MA. 02360.  Photos may be attached to your e-mail (JPEG images preferred) or dropped off at our newsroom in North Plymouth. Please try to keep your stories to between 400 and 500 words.  Remember, stories about rescues would provide good publicity for the FPP!

Petco Foundation

PETCO has provided substantial support to the Friends of the Plymouth Pound. They formerly gave us space to house homeless cats in their store at 1210 Providence Highway (Route 1) in Norwood, MA and have also provided financial sponsorship and staffing for various FPP events such as the annual Memorial Day carnival. For these reasons and more, PETCO deserves your patronage. If you need pet supplies of any kind, please go to your local PETCO. For information about the PETCO store near you, click here or on the PETCO icon presented below.
