The Friends of the Plymouth Pound sponsor or attend many special events during the year. These events include cat shows, golf tournaments, talent shows, yard sales, spooky walks, etc. Keep coming back to this page or contact the Friends of the Plymouth Pound for details. Here are just a few of the events at which the Friends of the Plymouth Pound will be present in the near future:
The Friends of the Plymouth Pound operates a cat shelter at the Petco store in Norwood, MA. This store has set aside an area for the exclusive use of the Friends of the Plymouth Pound where we house and display many of our homeless cats. If you are looking for a cat, come to Petco in Norwood and see our cats. The Norwood Petco is located on Route 1. Adoption applications, which are available at the Norwood Petco store, should be completed if you are interested in any of our cats. Volunteers are always needed to help us take care of the cats in Norwood. The Friends of the Plymouth Pound hold an annual fund-raising Pet Walk-A-Thon, reunion, and cook-out at scenic Morton Pond Park in Plymouth, MA on a Saturday in September. Check back here next summer (2010) or contact the Friends of the Plymouth Pound about next year's event.
NEXT! Pet photos with Santa are coming! These will be held at the PetCo store on Route One in Norwood, MA on December 5th and December 12th. Come on over with your pet and have an inexpensive photo taken with Santa. Its for a good cause. The proceeds benefit the Friends of the Plymouth Pound.
The Friends of the Plymouth Pound participate in periodic "Pet Adoption Weekends" conducted at the Petco store in Norwood and at other locations throughout the year. Contact the Friends of the Plymouth Pound for more details about the next event.
