WANT LIST

I'm an active collector of New Haven Railroad artifacts. Although I collect a little bit of everything, my main interests are advertising paper, dining car material (china, silver, glassware, menus, crewperson's uniform articles, etc.), signs that display the NH logo, and nearly anything from the McGinnis administration (April 1954 through January 1956). Here are a few specific items that I am actively seeking. If you've got any of this stuff and would like to unload it, contact me via e-mail.

This particular travel poster was issued during the spring of 1955. It has a picture of a baby sitting in a parlor car chair with the caption "No Comment Necessary!".  Poster
Blue Charge Card This is the first style of New Haven Railroad Rail Charge Card. It is made of cardboard. Note the script monogram and the blue color accent.
Collectors call this the Merchants Pattern. I need an egg cup and a square relish bowl in this pattern. Note, these two items will not have the train and map design seen on this plate. They will have the gray stripes seen on the rim of this plate and will be marked with the New Haven's "NYNH&H" initials on the bottom in red along with the Buffalo China logo. Merchants Pattern
Platinum Blue This china pattern is known as Platinum Blue. I require a tea pot and a hot food cover in this pattern. I'm only interested in articles that are marked with the New Haven's "NYNY&H" initials on the back or bottom. Please note that there are plenty of unmarked Platinum Blue pieces out there and I'm not interested in them!
Collectors call this china pattern Old Saybrook. It was made by McNicol. I need a demitasse saucer, a 10" oval platter, 11" oval platter, and a creamer. Please note that the specific pieces I am looking for will not be marked with the New Haven Railroad's name. However, all but the demitasse saucer will have the New England village scene. Old Saybrook
Waiter's Button I'd like to obtain an example of the waiter's numbered button shown here. It is kind of hard to make out but what we've got here is a dark colored circular pinback button (black I think) with light colored outline artwork (white I think) of an approaching steam locomotive. The waiter's number (in this case 7) is on the front of the locomotive.
I'm also looking for an original dining car waiter or parlor car attendant's jacket like the example shown here. These jackets were white and had the words "New Haven" embroidered over the left breast pocket in red or possibly other colored script lettering. Waiter's Jacket

Other specific items that I am looking for, but have not pictured, include station signs or other kinds of wooden or metal signage that feature the NH logo (especially interested in obtaining a sign of this type from "Route 128"), disposable dining car stuff such as paper napkins, paper plates, paper or plastic cups, paper finger bowl liners, kid's bibs, paper placemats, wrapped straws, wrapped soaps, wrapped sugar cubes, etc., dining car or grill car hostess and cook's hats, a white grill car counterman's smock with "NYNH&HRR Grill Cars" embroidered across the front, New Haven Railroad marked dining car glassware, plastic passenger car floor tiles with the NH logo, vinyl upholstery fabric with the NH logo, New Haven Railroad grill car curtains, and posters or advertising displays that feature the NH logo. Think of me first if you should come across such things. I'll give them a really good home
