Wisconsin Family Tribute, 2001

Mary Ellen Green writes: "The Wisconsin Greens had a memorial for Ned on his 27th birthday in Appleton, Wisconsin on July 1, 2001. Katie sang a song. Norb, Kelly, Alice and Mary Ellen shared readings and messages. Katie sprinkled Ned's ashes under the trees behind our pool. (She, Norb and Andrew also spread them in Mom Green's backyard.) Rose petals were thrown. Kit-Kat bars were munched since a wrapper was in Ned's pocket of the red, flannel shirt that Katie received from Clare."
