POPS CONCERT:
The QSO Pops Concert, given in Boston, presents a lighter
mixture of orchestral music drawn from Broadway melodies, American and European
Folk music, Hollywood movie scores, popular concert overtures and notable
operatic numbers. Guest vocalists or ensembles are featured, and the audience
has an opportunity to sing-along or conduct. This concert is not held in
an auditorium, and listeners enjoy snacks and a cocktail bar. Free illuminated
parking.

Concert-goers Take Note:
- You are encouraged to arrive one-half hour before the performance time listed as a courtesy to others attending the performance.
- The Fall, Winter and Spring concerts are succeeded by complementary refreshments, cakes and cookies, courtesy of the Quincy Symphony Guild. The Pops Concert features a cash cocktail bar and complimentary cheese and crackers.
- Quincy Symphony Concerts are recorded. Therefore, we ask that unnecessary noise be limited when the orchestra is playing.
- Quincy Symphony concert tapes are available. See the recording engineer after the performance.
- Some Quincy Symphony concerts are delayed broadcast on Quincy Community Television and/or reviewed in the Patriot Ledger.
