(a "Youth Performs" series concert: Each season the QSO auditions the area's greatest young solo talent and features the winner of the Robert E. Brown Scholarship Competition in a performance of a concerto of their choice in concert with the orchestra)

POPS CONCERT:

The QSO Pops Concert, given in Boston, presents a lighter mixture of orchestral music drawn from Broadway melodies, American and European Folk music, Hollywood movie scores, popular concert overtures and notable operatic numbers. Guest vocalists or ensembles are featured, and the audience has an opportunity to sing-along or conduct. This concert is not held in an auditorium, and listeners enjoy snacks and a cocktail bar. Free illuminated parking.
