CMP Nourishment Centers are constructed of Type 304 stainless steel with No. 4 finish. Welding is done by Heliarc process. All exposed welding is ground and polished. The entire unit bears National Sanitation Foundation and Underwriter Laboratories, Inc. listing seals. CounterTop CMP Nourishment Centers counter tops are 34" (864 mm) high with an 11 " (279 mm) backsplash and have a 14" (356 mm) x 16" (406 mm) x 7 " (178 mm) deep sink with an inverted "V" type edge at front (the sink for Model 48NSF is 14" x 10" x 7" deep). Sink has radius corners and shall be integrally welded into the countertop. The sink shall be equipped with a hot and cold water deck-mounted faucet. CMP Nourishment Centers include an icemaker that produces 525 lbs. (238 Kg.) of hard crystal-clear compacted flake ice chunks per day, on a durable stainless steel evaporator. A 40 lb. (18 Kg.) capacity bin is included for storage and dispensing of ice. Ice in the bin is agitated automatically every 20 minutes to prevent congealing. The bin is constructed of molded gel-coat with urethane foam insulation sealed with vinyl coating. Ice is dispensed by pushing a button on front panel. The compressor in the icemaker is warranted for 5 years, and the water-cooled condensing unit (air-cooled optional) is charged with environmentally safe R404A refrigerant (containing no CFCs). Access to and servicing of both icemaker and bin shall be accomplished by removing front panel.
If desired, extra storage space may be specified in lieu of icemaker
RefrigeratorCMP Nourishment Centers model 48NSF, 60NSF, and 72NSF have a refrigerator that is an integral part of the lower section of the unit. The capacity of the refrigerator is approximately 7.0 cu. ft. (I98 liters) and it is equipped with two adjustable wire rack shelves. Model 78NSF and model 84NSF Nourishment Centers have a combination refrigerator/freezer, the capacity of the refrigerator sections being approximately 10.0 cu. ft. (283 liters) and the capacity of the freezer section being approximately 2.2 cu. ft. (62 liters). The refrigerator is constructed of No. 20 gauge (0.9 mm) stainless steel. All internal corners are rounded for ease of cleaning and sanitation. Electric strip heaters are provided to eliminate condensation. Doors are insulated and constructed of No. 20 gauge (0.9 mm) stainless steel. A chrome -plated striker-type latch is used as closure device for each door. Cooling is accomplished with an air-cooled, 1/5 hp, hermetically sealed condensing unit (Models 78NSF & 84NSF have 1/3 hp units). The refrigeration system is controlled by temperature control with adjustable temperature setting to maintain 36F to40F (3C to 5C). The refrigerator is self-defrosting. Bulk Storage Compartment
CMP Nourishment Centers, depending upon model and configuration, have a storage compartment above the counter top. The compartment has a fixed bottom shelf and two adjustable shelves. Double-pan hinged doors enclose the compartment. Storage Drawers / Lower Storage Compartment A bulk storage compartment or three storage drawers are located below the counter top in most models (where space permits).
Utility Compartment
A utility compartment is below the sink for easy access to plumbing utilities. Below that, a removable, louvered, drip-proof panel is provided for access to electrical power connections and the load center, which has plug-in circuit breakers pre-wired to appliances.
Electric Hot Plates
CMP Nourishment Centers have two 1500 watt, 208 volt heating coil units installed in and on the side of countertop opposite the sink. Infinite control switches with variable heat range are on the control panel for each unit. Nourishment Centers may be specified to exclude electric hot plates. CMP Nourishment Centers include a paper towel dispenser located on the wall above the countertop for standard paper towels. also, a cup dispenser provides for individual dispensing of standard paper cups.Electrical Receptacles and Lights
CMP Nourishment Centers have two electrical receptacles on the back wall of the cabinet. The receptacles are 125 vac, 15 ampere-rated, three-wire, ground fault interrupter type. Recessed fluorescent lamps are located directly above counter top at the top of the unit and below the ice-maker/dispenser unit. The lamps are controlled by individual switches located on the control panel.Service Connections
CMP Nourishment Centers are completely interpiped and interwired, requiring only one single connection for each service. Required service connections are 1/2" (13 mm) I.P.S. hot water, 1/2" (13 mm) I.P.S.cold water, 1/4" (6 mm) I.P.S. cold water, and 1 1/2"(38 mm) waste. The unit shall be wired for (specify desired voltage): 120/208 vac, single-phase, 60 Hz, three wire, or 120/208 vac, three-phase, 60 Hz, four wire, or 115/230 vac, single-phase, 60 Hz threewire.
