Review Period
See the Post-Tenure Review Page for the PTR Review Period
Your "review" period is the period within which falls the performance that is the subject of an evaluation.
It does not include any period that falls outside the work year.
If you are a full-time member in the first and second year, it runs from your date of hire to the beginning of your evaluation.
If you are a candidate for tenure, your review period is the entire period of your full-time, tenure-track service.
If you are a candidate for promotion, it is the entire period of full-time service since the end of the review period for your last promotion. If you have never been promoted it is or from the date on which you began employment in your present rank.
Example: The review period for a promotion that will became effective in September 2006 ended at the end of academic year 2004-2005. The evaluation for that promotion took place in academic year 2005-2006, but academic year 2005-2006 was not part of the review period. Thus, the review period for the next promotion will begin September 2005.
