Music at Emmanuel

Music is a vital part of the worship experience here at Emmanuel.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church counts among its many blessings a congregation very interested in music in all its wide variety styles and derived from many cultures. The heritage of Lutheran music extends from the days of Luther through today.

Our weekly services are enriched and our worship is led by a dedicated group of musicians: The traditional worship service is accompanied by the Organ and senior choir with occasional instrumentalists or piano.

The Contemporary Worship Service includes music by the Family Choir, a very active group of instrumentalists ( Saxophone, Flutes, Guitars, Piano, Clarinet, Drums, French Horn and others as they are available.) This musical participation provides the Contemporary Worship Service with some real excitement and a vital worship experience.

Senior Choir - Rehearsals are held every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. New members are most welcome. Please come and lift your heart in fellowship and your voice in song

Senior Bell Choir - Rehearsals are held each Monday at 7:30 p.m. New members are most welcome. You do not have to be a seasoned bell ringer or a skilled musician to ring. We will teach you all you need to know. Ringing bells is truly a whole lot of fun, relaxing, and a challenge as well. So come on down and give it a try.
