Directions to Emmanuel Lutheran Church and
Parking Facilities
From Norwood Center follow route 1A South for 1 mile. Berwick St. is on the left at
the head of a large open park area. Emmanuel is the red brick church with the tall steeple
on the left hand side of the street.
Parking for Emmanuel
Visitor parking signs have been purchased and are placed in the front of the church at the main entrance. Our hope
is these two spots will make it easier for visitors to join us on a Sunday morning.
Parking spaces have been marked/painted on Berwick Street for correct spacing and allowing the maximum
amount of parking on that side of the street.
The driveway has been repaved and widened. Four parking spaces have been marked for use on the driveway.
The Handicap space is past the side entrance door by the elevator. The three remaining spaces are open
for the congregation to use. The parking space next to the side entrance door can be used and saved for
any member who needs additional assistance to get into the church. You may notify the church office
if you would like that space reserved for you. If a sign is not placed in that space on a Sunday morning,
any member is welcome to park there.
We have contacted the medical building located on Winslow and Chapel Street and have been given permission
to park in that parking lot on Sunday mornings. The address for this building is 95 Chapel Street. (See map)
For those members who are able to walk a little bit farther on a Sunday morning to church, we encourage them
to park in this lot. This will open up spaces on Berwick Street for others who are not able to walk as far.
