For the past three years, I have been best friends with this guy who is someone I confide in and count on. Six months ago. we decided to take our relationship beyond friendship. Every day he assures me that we will eventually be a couple, but nothing seems to progress. It’s been over a month and I’m not sure if he’ll ever commit to me. Should I wait for that day or just move on?

This is a tough situation. You really care about this guy, yet you do not want to lose him as a friend. Entering a relationship based on a former friendship can carry its own difficulties. You’ve probably each shared secrets with each other that may be hard to erase from your thoughts. I think you should talk with your good friend and tell him how you feel. Then give him time and do not pressure him. If you and your friend are meant to be, destiny will do its job.
