Powers of the General Committee
I. Section 7.1 (10) shall be amended to read as follows:
Approve nominations for ' 'Nominate and elect the
chairmen of the all standing- 0 -committees (Training
Committee, Evaluation Committee, Referee Coaching Committee, Appointments
Committee, and Laws Committee).
II. Section 7.5. Action Without a Meeting/Written Ballot, shall be added
in its entirety:
Any action which may be taken by the vote of General Committee Members
at a regular or special meeting may be taken without a meeting if the Executive
Committee or the General Committee Chairman distributes a written ballot
to every member entitled to vote on the matter. A written ballot may be
made utilizing electronic mail. Such ballot shall set forth the proposed
action and provide an opportunity to specify approval or disapproval of
any proposal. Five (5) members of the General Committee may request
the proposed action be postponed pending a discussion in which all General
Committee members are entitled to participate. Upon receipt of such request,
the General Committee Chairman shall arrange a meeting in person or by
telephone conference within thirty (30) days.
Powers of the Executive Committee
III. Section 8.2 (8) shall be amended to read as follows:
Appoint Make interim appointments of the chairmen
of the standing committees (Training Committee, Evaluation Committee, Referee
Coaching Committee, Appointments Committee, and Laws Committee) pending
approval (simple majority) -of the General Committee. For the
purpose of this section "interim appointment" shall be defined as a temporary
appointment until the next General Committee meeting . All appointments
for standing committee chairmen will to chairmen for
standing committees made pursuant to 7.1.(10) shall be for a term of
four years. There are no term limits for appointed committee chairmen.
*IV. Section 8.2 (9) shall be amended to read as follows:
Approve the appointments of Nominate and elect
the voting committee members to the Evaluation Committee.
*IV. Section 8.2.(11), Management of Standing Committees, shall be added in its entirety as-
The Executive Committee shall provide general direction and management for all standing committees. The Executive Committee shall primarily, but is not obligated to, communicate to the respective standing committee through its chairman. The Executive Committee shall have the right, but not the obligation, to modify or change the direction of the Executive Committee officer charged with primary supervision of any standing committee. "
General Committee Meetings
V Section 9.7 (7) shall be amended to read as follows:

The General Committee may provide strategic direction and management
for the Executive Committee and standing committees. The General Committee
shall have the right, but not the obligation, to modify or change the direction
of the Executive Committee or the officer charged with primary supervision
of any standing committee.
Responsibilites of the Chairman
*VII. Section 10.1(9) shall be added in its entirety as follows:
Provide general supervision for the chairmen of the Evaluation Committee
and the Appointments Committee.
Responsibilites of the RDO
