Porting an existing number to GalaxyVoice

If you wish to port over an existing phone number to GalaxyVoice you must fill out a Letter of Authorization (LOA).

1. Ports can take up to a month in some cases. We process them as quickly as possible but there may be delays in getting the number released from the originating carrier.

2. Accounts must be activated and used before we can port a number to it. (2 or 3 minutes making and receiving calls is sufficient.)

3. If there is DSL on the line we can normally still port. If the DSL is serviced out of a Remote Terminal or Overlay Terminal we cannot port.

Important:

  • Please include a copy of your most recent phone bill with the LOA form
  • You must maintain a 250 minute account package or greater

**Warning** Do not call your current phone provider to cancel the phone number you want to port. The service with your current provider will be cancelled automatically as part of the porting process. If you cancel the number before the port is complete you may lose the number.
