Outlook Express (IE 5)

	Step 1. Open Outlook Express and click on the Tools menu and select Accounts.

	Step 2. You should now see the Accounts area. Click on the mail tab, and you should see the following window.

	Step 3. Click on the Add and select Mail.

	Step 4. The setup wizard should now appear. In the field labeled Display Name please enter your Full Name as you would like it to appear. Click Next

	Step 5. On the next window, you should see an area for your email address. Make sure that you have "I already have an e-mail address that I’d like to use" selected. In Email Address, enter <username>@gis.net where <username>is your login id. Click Next

	Step 6. You should now be on the server area of the setup. Please enter the following settings. Incoming mail: pop.gis.net Outgoing mail: smtp.gis.net Click Next

	Step 7. The Internet Mail Logon screen should now be on the screen. Please enter the following settings Account Name: <username> Password: password Where <username> is your login id and password is your logon password. Click Next

	Step 8. Congratulations, you should now have an internet account setup. Click Finish

	Step 9. On the Accounts screen Click Close

	To check for new mail, click on the Send/Recv button

	To write a new message, click on the New mail button.
