Director of Sales

Galaxy Internet Services, New England's Largest Privately held Internet Service Provider, is seeking a highly self-motivated individual to further establish our market presence in the high broadband communications industry by selling our product line to medium and large size enterprise accounts. Our vast product includes DSL, Leased Lines, Frame Relay, Collocation, and Fixed Wireless Broadband as well as dial-up and web hosting. Applicant's ability to sell will be directly related to success of employment.

Experience and Requirements:

• All Sales and related positions will be incentive and commission laden.
• Minimum of 5 years Internet, Telecom, or Hi-Tech sales experience.
• Proven Track record in Internet or Telecom product sales.
• Highly effective in reaching the culmination of the sales process.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of many or all the products and services we offer.
• PC Skills on many or all of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop new business through personal selling efforts and help facilitate sales growth potential into revenue.
• Help to identify new revenue and growth opportunities from both new and existing customers bases.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and quotes that outline both the technical and business merits of our products to potential customers.
• Keep abreast of market intelligence, competitive products, and new applications and developments as well as keeping duly informed of our market potential, competitive threats, and new opportunities.
• Establish the processes and procedures to ensure successful sales and sales force management.
• Manage and motivate existing sales force.
