News, Views and Reviews (back to top)

Discography (back to top)

The latest version of Kenny Gan's massive discography is 4.0, dated July 23, 2000 and is available at trashcansinatras.com under the resources tab.

Guitar Tabs (back to top)

Thanks to the generosity of various TCS mailing list members (especially Dave Gels, Gunnar Haereid, Yushi Kuno and R. Simons), here is an archive of TCS tabs.

Lyrics (back to top)

Lyrics to the first three albums and all b-sides are available at trashcansinatras.com under the lyrics tab. Note that some of the lyrics are official, some are just best guesses.

Rare Stuff [updated](back to top)

Click here for more information on what is available ('On a B Road' CD, 'Chewing a Brick' CD, video compilation, t-shirts, 7" vinyl), or please send me an e-mail. There will also be a new double CD of demos and unreleased songs, it is expected to be available around February 2003. I am also looking for certain hard to find releases and live shows (videos or bootlegs). Please let me know if you have anything!

Tours [updated](back to top)

tcs will be playing a show at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on Saturday, February 15, 2003. Tickets should be on sale around the beginning of January. information from prior shows is posted on the TCS 2001 page. You can also read up on TCS' Japan tour in January-February 1999, TCS' concert in Dublin in March 1999, or their time in the USA recording and playing shows in the spring of 2000. You can also find some additional information at trashcansinatras.com under the gigs tab.

MP3s (back to top)

I do not have space for MP3s here, however MP3s of live songs and other appearances are available at trashcansinatras.com under the audio tab. New MP3s are usually added every couple of weeks.

Videos (back to top)

I do not have space for videos here, however officially released videos, concert footage and other appearances are available at trashcansinatras.com under the video tab. New videos are usually added every couple of weeks.

Cover Scans (back to top)

Since scans of most of the normal releases are available on the web (see links below), I'm posting scans for promo and unusual items here. This scans page is under construction and graphic intensive, so go get yourself something to eat while it loads. On February 27, 1999, I added scans for "The Genius I Was" promo CD, "Senses Working Overtime" promo 12", "Obscurity Knocks" promo 7", "To Sir, With Love" promo 12" and "Cake+6" CD.

TCS Links (back to top)

trashcansinatras.com - Official TCS page has news, MP3s, video clips, a message board, contests to win TCS items and more. The page is at http://www.trashcansinatras.com

TCS Chat Room - Ed Gore has started a web-based TCS Chat Room. You can either access it from Ed's page above, or jump directly to it at http://venus.beseen.com/chat/rooms/d/2758/ As of now, there aren't any scheduled times when chats will take place, and I'm not sure if anyone actually visits this site, so just stop by and see if anyone is there.

TCS Club on Yahoo - Ed Gore is at it again. He recently started a TCS Club on Yahoo, which features a message board and chat room. You can jump directly to it at http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/trashcansinatras
Yushi Kuno's Japanese TCS Page - Japanese TCS fan and list member Yushi Kuno has a Japanese TCS page at http://www.ct.sakura.ne.jp/~flowers/tcs/ Yushi recently started a Japanese TCS list mailing list and his page has information about joining the list, plus guitar tabs and links to other TCS web pages and a TCS bulletin board. His page also has some information about TCS, including news from my page and the TCS FAQ (translation assisted by Yuka Nakajima). If you understand Japanese, you should definitely check out his page and even if you don't, it's interesting to see what he has.

Dave Tanser - Dave's TCS page at http://www.fosbrook.demon.co.uk/the-trash-can-sinatras.htm includes a partial discography with cover scans and links to other TCS sites. This page is no longer being updated.

TCS Board on AOL - Well, this isn't really a link, but if you're a member of AOL, check out the music message center (Keyword: MMC) then the World Beat section, then the World Music section. The boards are in alphabetical order and the TCS one is towards the bottom. With the new structure of the AOL boards, it's a relatively permanent board.
Darren Kiel - You can also check out Darren Kiel's "TCS List Members" page, which is at http://www.nexus.net/~dkiel/trashcan.shtml This page has pictures and bios of some list members.
Please refer to section 3 in the FAQ for a more comprehensive list of TCS links (note: until the FAQ is updated, some of the links listed may be inactive).

Joining the TCS Mailing Lists (back to top)

I run a TCS Info List where I periodically send messages to everyone about band updates or new items that become available. This is not a discussion list, and I'm the only person who can send messages to the list. If you want to be on the list and receive updates, please let me know.

Note: Thanks to Alvin Buenaventura for some of the photos used on this page. This site is best viewed at 800x600 resolution with 4.0 or higher browsers. [Made With Mac]
