• A quick word on what is going on with this website: I started this site back in 1996 to provide information about the Trash Can Sinatras. In 1999, I started trashcansinatras.com and over time, have been focusing my efforts on keeping that site updated on a timely basis. This site is generally not being updated, however I have not moved all content over to trashcansinatras.com, so there may still be some useful or interesting (although old) information here. Please make sure you check trashcansinatras.com for the most recent information and updates. Thanks.

• recording update

  tcs head back into riverside studios on december 28-29 to re-record 'it's a miracle we got anywhere at all' and clean up some previously recorded vocals and music on other tracks. afterwards, the recording sessions will be transferred to different tapes to send out for additional remixing. [12/8/02]

  gig scheduled

  tcs will be playing at king tut's wah wah hut in glasgow on saturday, february 15. tickets should be on sale around the beginning of january. more information about ticket sales will be posted when available. [12/8/02]

  new limited cd planned

  there will be a new limited cd available in early 2003, tentatively expected in february. the details are still being worked out, but it will most likely be a double cd, consisting of demos and alternate versions of songs from the first three tcs albums, as well as demos/recordings of some unreleased songs. it may also include live material. more details and track listings will be posted when available. • If you are interested in receiving e-mail updates of TCS news, as well as any news about new TCS CDs, videos, t-shirts, etc, please let me know and I'll add you to the "TCS Info List". This is not a discussion list but simply a list for TCS and me to send out information to everyone who is interested in what is happening. I will also continue to post information to the web page.

• If you are with a record company, distributor or booking agent and are interested in talking to TCS about record deals, touring, promotions, etc., or if you know of any organizations who might be, please let me know the information and I will pass it along. TCS' management is interested in talking about any opportunities that might exist.

• In March 1996, the Trash Can Sinatras made a short film, described as "Fifteen minutes of sex-sodden alcodelia." This controversial short film supported the Coen Brothers classic thriller "Blood Simple". Premiering in London and Glasgow before being withdrawn for censor certification, Spooktime was also screened at the Canned Film Festival in the south of France. TCS Chat Room - Ed Gore has started a web-based TCS Chat Room. You can either access it from Ed's page above, or jump directly to it at http://venus.beseen.com/chat/rooms/d/2758/ As of now, there aren't any scheduled times when chats will take place, and I'm not sure if anyone actually visits this site, so just stop by and see if anyone is there.

TCS Board on AOL - Well, this isn't really a link, but if you're a member of AOL, check out the music message center (Keyword: MMC) then the World Beat section, then the World Music section. The boards are in alphabetical order and the TCS one is towards the bottom. With the new structure of the AOL boards, it's a relatively permanent board.
