TCS Guitar Tabs: "I'm Immortal"

by R. Simons

I'm Immortal

F# C# F# C#
Out for a spell, I was slated.
 I'd lost a yard, I was hated
I dug a rug out in the dugout,
lazing, I joined in the turnout
B C # F#
That's no life at all

F# C# F# C#
Out for a spell, got neglected,
lay on the bench unselected
Laughing, I joined in the squabbles,
over the hill. I'm immortal
        B C# F#
And that's no life at all
F# C# F# C#
I'm immortal
          B C# F#
and that's not life at all

F# Then the Transition is C#, B, A and then 001110 (Ab?),A.

F# C# F# C#
I took a kick in the confidence,
down in the tackle I hurt
I took a shine to your big size tens
F# F# C#
Now all around the subject I skirt.
B C#
 Gingerly,
F# C# F# C#
 gingerly

B C# F# C#
And that's no life at all

Same transition again as above..

F#
I just went out for a spell
I just went out for a smoke
I took a dive I was a sub
I thought my number was up
F# C# F# C#
But I'm immortal,
         B C# F#
and that's not life at all
F# C#
Speaking of tongues, baby
I'm immortal

End with Reverse of chords C#, B , F#

I had already figured out the C# and F# bit, but it was the rest of the chords that kept on eluding me. If you play guitar or know the guy that did up that tab, you may want to pass on that it would probably be helpful to note somewhere on there that at least those two chords are played barred up on the 9th fret...

The song is definitely C# and F#, but when I played it on the 9th fret it didn't sound right, and it wasn't as easy to do the C# - B slide, which is imperative for the song to sound anything like the cd. So, if you want to mention on the page that somebody thinks that it should be played on the 9th fret, people should be able to figure it out.
