The Committee on Tenure
Membership

• Four members elected by MSCA
   
• One tenured member of the candidate's department elected by the tenured department members
   
• The candidate's chairperson may serve as a consultant to your committee.  The chairperson will attend at least one meeting of the tenure committee but will not vote.

Removal for bias

• You may ask the President to remove an individual from your committee for demonstrated bias.
